Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety disorders affect over 6 million adults each year. When an individual experiences excessive worry over singular events or become overly concerned about relationships money, health, family, work, etc., the effects can become overwhelming. Oftentimes, people suffering from an anxiety disorder do not know how to stop the worrying and feel their feelings are beyond their control.

Helping Children & Adults

Many individuals suffering from depression will experience symptoms of an anxiety disorder. However, depression can have a deeper and longer lasting effect with respect to persistent sad, anxious or “empty” moods; feelings of hopelessness; feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness; loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies and activities, decreased energy and fatigue; difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions; insomnia, early-morning awakening, or oversleeping; low appetite and weight loss or overeating and weight gain; thoughts of death or suicide; and restlessness or irritability.
