I believe that every person has a unique story, and healing begins when that story is met with acceptance, empathy, and respect. My approach is based on self-empowerment and a deep commitment to advocate for underserved populations, such as BIPOC and LQBTQ+. As a first-generation American, I am passionate about working with clients who are navigating dual identities, acculturation stress, intergenerational dynamics, systemic challenges, and life’s other challenges. Starting counseling can be an overwhelming experience, but collaboratively, we can create a self-paced, judgment-free space where the client is the driver and I am the navigator.
I strive to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship that is deeply rooted in trust, where clients can explore their experiences, build confidence, and move towards healing and growth. I believe in accepting each client’s unique story while empowering them to navigate struggles like anxiety, depression, identity development, trauma, and multicultural stress.
I strongly value guiding clients to reconnect with their strengths, gain clarity, and develop a greater sense of self, all while respecting the client’s cultural values and beliefs and lived experiences. I am currently scheduling new clients, and I’d enjoy the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey.
I am currently in my final year at the University of West Georgia, where I will complete a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
