Hi, I’m Daniela Reyes. I am an aspiring bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical mental health counselor. I take on the perspective that every person has a story in progress, each one is unique, significant and deserves to be heard.

Teaching in an elementary school, working with preschoolers and kindergarteners, also spending years supporting youth and women through seasons of crisis and transitions as a youth and women’s pastor, was what molded my heart for this field long before grad school. I have witnessed first-hand what happens when a person finally feels safe enough to be honest and come to realize that they don’t have to carry the burden alone.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and teens. With children, I use creative, play-based approaches to help them express what they may not yet have words for and build coping skills in ways that fit their age.

My goal for every session is to offer a grounded, compassionate, and safe space where individuals feel welcomed and comfortable enough to share their story, whether they are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, or any other situation.

I use methods such as CBT, Christian CBT (CBT adapted with Scripture), DBT skills, mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and an attachment-informed lens to support insight, emotional regulation, and healthier patterns.

Faith-based support is available when requested, and it’s always integrated in a client-led way, at the client’s pace and in line with their goals.
